Christine Seibold Owner, Director, Instructor

Christine has a Fine Arts Degree in Dance from
NVCC and has been dancing for over 20 years. With backgrounds in recreational,
competitive, pre -professional, and classical trainings to her degree in the
Fine Arts. Her teachings focus strongly on technique with a flare for fun,
combining the classical or formal style class structure with the flexibility
and creativity to expand each child’s experience. Christine opened SSOPA in
September of 2002.

Jea’Nelle Kaminski Creative Movement, Tap, Lyrical and Hip Hop Instructor

Jea’Nelle graduated from NVCC in 2006 with a degree in
Fine Arts/Dance and has been instructing children ages 2-12 for the past four
years. At NVCC she trained in all aspects of dance including ballet, modern,
tap, jazz, and dance pedagogy. She
danced with the Terpsichorean Dance Ensemble for three years and served as
president and received the Award of Merit for the 2005 school year. Master
classes and workshops include: Bob Fosse workshops with Jim Clark, Anna Sokolow
workshops with Lorry May and Pilobolus workshops with Rebecca Anderson Darling.
Jea’Nelle also attended the Litchfield Jazz Festival Summer Dance Institute
from 2003-2005 were she studied modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and
yoga.

Victoria Sforza Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop Instructor
|
|
Victoria has over twenty years of dance experience and recently
completed her Fine Arts Degree in Dance from NVCC. She served
as Miss Wolcott 2006 and is currently the director of the
Wolcott High School Dance Team. Victoria has been teaching
at SSOPA since October 2007. Her elite hip hop class recently
won a gold medal during the StarQuest Dance Competition that
took place at the Waterbury Palace Theater.

Michele McDonald Vocal Instructor
|
|
Michele is the vocal teacher at the Southbury School Of Performing Arts
since September 2003. She is so happy and proud to share her musical talents.
Michele has been singing and performing for over 30 years. She was a music
major at Western Connecticut State University who also studied theater.
Since then she has developed her skills in master classes and vocal coaching
with John Rutter, John Harris, Elizabeth Russo, Anne Carlson, and Pamela Hoffman.
In 2000, Michele performed with the Danbury Concert Chorus, Leslie Eckstein,
conductor, in Havana, Cuba.Michele has been a member of the Connecticut Master Chorale,
Tina Hendrich, conductor since 2001. They have performed at Madison Square Garden,
Carnegie Hall, and the White House.

Elisabeth Fox Ballet, Ballroom Instructor
|
|
Elisabeth Fox has been teaching dance for over thirty-five years. She began her dance
training at the prestigious Washington Ballet. She continued studying dance at the
University of Maryland and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. Elisabeth was
a soloist with Rockville Ballet, a Maryland regional dance company.
Elisabeth's extensive teaching credits include: Priceton Ballet, Capital City Ballet of
Sacramento, American Community School of London, Royal Oak Dance Center in Michigan,
Montgomery Village Center for the Arts in Maryland, The Westover School and Main Street
Ballet. Elisabeth also received her level two tap certificate from The Royal Academy of
Dance while living in London.
